This past weekend, my longtime friend Edward Patlan commissioned me to do four different designs for his new place. I have been crazy busy lately, but since I was going to be in San Marcos for the weekend anyway, I really wanted to knock these out for him. We worked together to come up with four sayings that would, not only relate to him, but have some notoriety and appeal as well. Since we are both big fans of rap, particularly rap with content and clever, meaningful lyrics, we resorted to that. Pictured are the final drawings with quotes from Jay Z, Biggie, Kendrick and Kanye. Ed picked out The Kanye and Biggie lines, and I added the Kendrick and Jay Z lines, of course.
